Session info
Over the last 15 years a lot has changed in the world of Technology, but one thing hasn’t: virtually no women are employed in the technical fields. I will talk about my experience growing up in New Zealand, how I got got involved in the field and what is being done here to attract more females to the industry. Is the gender pay gap real? Do women really face the issues that are in the media? This talk is wide ranging and will hopefully spark an interest in everyone to do one thing to improve the situation for everyone.
